Read reviews through AI tools
Up from 6% a year earlier. ChatGPT and similar tools are now the third most common place people check a local business.
Fixed price · Live in two weeks · Built in Texas
A website built to turn a click into a phone call, and a Google Business Profile built to rank in the local three-pack. One price, agreed before anything starts.
No retainer. No twelve-month contract. You own the domain, the site and the profile - on day one and on the day you leave.
Where you land
This is the whole job, in one picture. Google answers a local search with a map and three businesses. Everyone else is below a fold that most people never reach.
Why it decides everything
Ranking gets you looked at. The website is what turns the look into a call - and it is the only part a competitor cannot outbid you for.
So the work is two halves that only pay off together. A profile Google trusts enough to show, and a page that answers the four things a person checks before they dial: do you do this, do you come here, what does it cost, can I reach a human.
What changed this year
This is the fastest shift in local search in a decade, and almost no small business site is built for it. Assistants cannot recommend what they cannot read.
Up from 6% a year earlier. ChatGPT and similar tools are now the third most common place people check a local business.
Google is not going anywhere, but its hold on the moment someone checks you out is thinner than it was twelve months ago.
And 43% of those went back to Google to check what the assistant told them. You need to be correct in both places.
Every build ships with structured business data - services, service area, hours, pricing signals and reviews marked up so an assistant can quote you accurately instead of guessing or skipping you.

What you get
No blog you will never write. No content management system you have to learn. No plugin that breaks in eight months.
Nearly three quarters of local searches happen on a phone. The phone layout is designed first and the desktop one follows, not the other way round.
Categories, services, service area, hours, photos, questions seeded, messaging configured. The single highest-leverage hour in local search.
Schema markup for your services, area, hours and reviews, so AI tools and search engines read your business instead of inferring it.
Tap-to-call in the thumb zone on every screen, a short form that does not ask for a life story, and a text option for people who will not phone a stranger.
Someone searching "water heater replacement Georgetown" should land on a page about water heater replacement in Georgetown, not a homepage.
Static hosting, no database, images sized correctly. Speed is both a ranking input and the reason people do not leave.
A short link and a printed card you hand over at the end of a job. Review count and recency are among the strongest local ranking signals you control.
A one-page monthly summary: calls, form fills, where the traffic came from, where you rank. No dashboard login you will never use.
Domain, hosting, profile and analytics registered to you. If you ever want to leave, you change one password and nothing breaks.
The alternatives
Three of these are legitimate choices and one of them might genuinely be better for you. Here is the comparison without the sales gloss.
| Build it yourself | Cheapest freelancer | Local agency | Boriken | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Up-front cost | $0-$400 | $400-$900 | $6,000-$20,000 | $1,500-$2,500, fixed |
| Ongoing cost | $16-$49 a month, forever | Usually none, and no support | $1,500-$4,000 a month retainer | Optional. $199 or $399 a month, cancel any time |
| Time to live | Whatever evenings you have | Two to eight weeks, variable | Six to twelve weeks | Two weeks from deposit |
| Local search included | No | Rarely | Yes | Yes - it is half the work |
| Structured data for AI tools | No | Almost never | Sometimes | Every build |
| Who does the work | You, after a ten hour day | Unknown, often subcontracted | An account manager and a team | One person, using AI tooling, who answers the phone |
| Contract | Month to month with the platform | None | Commonly twelve months | None. A signed scope for the build, then nothing |
| Who owns it | The platform, effectively | You, if they hand it over | Varies. Read the agreement | You, in writing, from day one |
| When you want a change | You do it | Hope they reply | A ticket and a bill | Included on a care plan, otherwise quoted flat |
| Honestly better if… | You have time and enjoy it | You need any page at all, today | You are a multi-location operation | You are one to twenty people and want it handled once |
Pricing
Quoted in writing before anything starts. Half to begin, half when it goes live. If the scope genuinely changes, you get a new number to approve before any work happens - never an invoice you did not expect.

One trade, one town. Everything you need to be findable and callable.

Hosting on a static host runs about $0-$5 a month and a domain about $15-$25 a year. On a build-only engagement those accounts are in your name and billed to you directly, so nothing is marked up.
Process
You run a business. The process is built so that almost all of the work sits on my side of the table.
What you do, where you go, what a good job is worth to you, and which competitors keep beating you. Free, and there is no second call to sell you anything.
Day one
One page: what gets built, what it costs, what the dates are. Nothing starts until you sign it and the deposit clears.
Within two days
Job photos, your logo if you have one, your service list and rough pricing. That is the whole ask. If you have no photos, we work around it.
Day three, about thirty minutes
Structure, copy, pages, speed, schema, and the Google profile in parallel. You hear nothing for a few days, which is the point.
Days four to nine
Not a picture of a site - the real thing, on a link, on your phone. One consolidated round of changes.
Day ten, about forty minutes
Domain pointed, certificate on, profile verified, analytics running. You get the logins, a one-page summary of what exists, and the final invoice.
Day fourteen

Tell me what you do and the towns you cover. You will get a straight answer about whether this is worth doing for your business, and a fixed number if it is. If it is not worth doing, you will be told that instead.
